Chyler Leigh

All About Chyler:
Leigh was raised in Virginia Beach, Va., until the age of 12 when she moved with her mother to Miami, Fla. During eighth grade, she started modeling. She soon moved on to acting by appearing in local television commercials and a syndicated teen news show called Hall Pass. In 2001, Leigh scored the lead role in the film Not Another Teen Movie as Janey Briggs. She also appeared in Marilyn Manson's music video "Tainted Love," a song that appeared in the film. She was ranked #65 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2002. In 2002, Leigh was cast in two short-lived TV series: Girls Club, in which she played lawyer Sarah Mickle, and That '80s Show, in which she played punk rocker June Tuesday. Following that, she joined the cast of another series, Reunion, in September 2005. In ABC's Grey's Anatomy, Leigh, seen first as the woman in Joe's bar, tries to pick up Derek Shepherd near the end of Season 3. It is later learned that she is Meredith's half-sister. Chyler married actor Nathan West on July 20, 2002, and together they have one son and one daughter. Leigh and West worked together in 2000 on the television series 7th Heaven as Mary Camden's troubled friends, Frankie and Johnnie. Chyler's older brother is Christopher Khayman Lee, better known as Andros, the red Space Ranger from Power Rangers in Space. Leigh's first name is pronounced "Kyler" not "Shyler" as it is appears, and is very commonly mispronounced.

Family:
She is the daughter of Thatcher and Susan Grey (who passed away at the end of Season 3), and thus the younger half-sister of Meredith Grey. She also has a younger sister, Molly Grey Thompson.

Brief romance with Alex Karev, and really liked George O’Malley but he was too dumb to realize it. She currently has a relationship with Mark Sloan.

Other:
Is allergic to eggs. Her nicknames are Lexipedia & Little Grey. She skipped the third grade. She was prom queen and valedictorian in high school.
